The Sigourney News-Review celebrated it's sesquicentennial anniversary in 2010 for delivering news to Keokuk County.

The Sigourney News-Review was established in 1960 after the consolidation of the Keokuk County News and the Sigourney Review by, then publisher Don Adams.  He successfully operated the thriving publication until his retirement. Publisher, Ken Chaney and his wife Zelda purchased the Sigourney News-Review on July 1, 1989 and after 20 years of ownership, sold the newspaper to Mid-American Publishing Corporation in January of 2008.  Ken retired as the Publisher and Advertising Sales Manager in 2015.

Charlie Comfort is the current Regional Editor of the Sigourney News-Review, serving since April 2018 and the Publisher since May 2019.
