Legion Park is not far from the downtown district of Sigourney. Home of the 2002 refurbished Municipal Swimming Pool, the park is a very active place during the summer months. Shelters, ball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts, horse shoes, and playground equipment are found at the park. During the Fourth of July celebration, the park is filled with games, food, and fun.

The pool and bath house have everything a family needs to make it an enjoyable event. Two diving boards, water mushrooms, a slide, and dumping buckets help keep the children occupied, allowing parents to catch some sun on the lounge chairs. During the evening hours, water-aerobics is available for adults. Quality staff and lifeguards occupy the pool at all times.
