KEOKUK COUNTY HEALTH CENTER

Sigourney is fortunate to have the Keokuk County Health Center as part of their community's local businesses. Located at 1314 S. Stuart, the hospital is within blocks of two care center facilities, an assisted living apartment complex, and next door to the University of Iowa Family Care Center.

Equipped with an excellent paramedic team, the hospital provides outstanding care for those unexpected emergency situations and has a helicopter pad for the transporting of trauma victims to the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
The Health Center is a Medicare-approved primary care facility with specialists to provide health care needs. County, school, and industrial nursing services are available, as well as physical and occupational therapy, car seat programs, home response systems, wellness clinics, and hospice services.

 

KEOKUK COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH & HOME CARE

As a Medicare-certified home care agency, Keokuk County Public Health and Home Care has over a century's worth of experience in caring for individuals in their homes. With five registered nurses and five home care aides, this agency can provide speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Nursing staff is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.
